Terms of Service — DriveEazy

Eligibility

To rent a vehicle from DriveEazy, you must be at least 21 years old, hold a valid Indian driving licence for a minimum of 1 year, and provide a valid government-issued photo ID (Aadhaar, PAN card, or passport).

Booking & Confirmation

A booking is considered confirmed only after DriveEazy sends a written or verbal confirmation. Submitting a booking request does not guarantee availability. We reserve the right to decline any booking without explanation.

Security Deposit

A refundable security deposit of ₹10,000 to ₹50,000 (depending on the vehicle) is required before the vehicle is handed over. The deposit is refunded within 3–5 working days after the vehicle is returned in satisfactory condition.

Vehicle Use

Vehicles may be used within Karnataka only, unless prior written permission is obtained from DriveEazy. Vehicles must not be used for commercial transportation of passengers, racing, off-road driving, or any illegal purpose. Only drivers approved by DriveEazy may operate the vehicle.

Fuel & FASTag

Vehicles are provided with a specified fuel level and minimum FASTag balance. You are responsible for returning the vehicle with the same fuel level and FASTag balance. Any shortfall will be deducted from the security deposit.

Accidents & Damage

In the event of an accident, breakdown, or damage, you must contact DriveEazy immediately at +91 78922 17978. All vehicles carry comprehensive insurance, but you remain liable for any damage caused by negligence, misuse, or violation of these terms.

Traffic Violations

All fines, penalties, toll charges, and traffic violations incurred during the rental period are the sole responsibility of the renter. DriveEazy will pass on any such charges received after the rental period.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations made more than 48 hours before pickup are eligible for a full refund of any advance payment. Cancellations within 48 hours may be subject to a cancellation fee. No-shows will forfeit any advance payment made.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Bangalore, Karnataka.
